Vocal Proxy is an AAC and speech aid app designed to help users prepare, display, and communicate text when speaking is difficult. This page explains how we handle data and the terms under which you may use the app.
Vocal Proxy is not designed for emergency communication and must not be relied upon to contact emergency services. In an emergency, use your device's official emergency calling features or other appropriate means to reach emergency services directly.
We do not intentionally collect your phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, camera data, SMS messages, or call history.

Vocal Proxy offers an optional Pro subscription through Google Play. Purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Google Play under Google Play's terms. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account. Free features remain available without a subscription, subject to usage limits shown in the app.
We do not sell user data. We do not share user data for advertising purposes. Service providers may process data only as needed to operate the app's features.
Data is transmitted over HTTPS using encrypted connections. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect user data.

Vocal Proxy is intended for adults and teens and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
By using Vocal Proxy, you agree to use the app responsibly and lawfully. The app is provided as a communication aid and is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or emergency advice. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation, and should be reviewed by you before relying on it. You are responsible for the content you choose to display, speak, or communicate using the app.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features as needed.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of Vocal Proxy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, opportunity, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the app — including damages arising from reliance on AI-generated content, service interruptions, or communication outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim related to the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the three months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability; in such cases, these limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted.
