Overview

Vocal Proxy is an AAC and speech aid app designed to help users prepare, display, and communicate text when speaking is difficult. This page explains how we handle data and the terms under which you may use the app.

Data We Collect

• Email address: Collected only when you use account-related features such as login, Pro access, or account recovery. It is used for authentication, account management, and support.
• Text you enter: Text entered into the app may be sent to our server and AI services to generate checklists, scripts, or communication text.
• Generated communication content: Scripts, phrases, and responses may be generated in real time to provide the app’s communication features.
• Usage and session data: We may use cookies or session data to keep you logged in, maintain app state, and apply usage limits.
• Text-to-speech data: When voice playback is available, text may be sent to a text-to-speech service to generate audio. The generated audio is not stored after delivery.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not intentionally collect your phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, camera data, SMS messages, or call history.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide AAC, text display, AI script generation, and text-to-speech features.
• To maintain login sessions and account access.
• To apply free or paid usage limits.
• To respond to support, account deletion, or data deletion requests.

Third-Party Services

The app may use the following services:

• Amazon Web Services: Hosting, AI text generation, text-to-speech, and email delivery.
• Google Play: If paid subscriptions are offered, purchases and subscription management will be handled through Google Play where required.

Payments and Subscriptions

During closed testing, paid subscription features may be disabled or unavailable. If Pro subscriptions are introduced, they will be offered through Google Play where required. Users will be able to manage subscriptions through their Google Play account.

Data Sharing

We do not sell user data. We do not share user data for advertising purposes. Service providers may process data only as needed to operate the app’s features.

Data Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS using encrypted connections. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect user data.

Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at:

We will process deletion requests within a reasonable period, normally within 7 business days.

Children's Privacy

Vocal Proxy is intended for adults and teens and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

Terms of Service

By using Vocal Proxy, you agree to use the app responsibly and lawfully. The app is provided as a communication aid and is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or emergency advice. AI-generated content may be inaccurate and should be reviewed by the user before relying on it.

The app is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features as needed, including during closed testing or future updates.
